Our Holy Week and Easter Schedule

Palm Sunday March 29 - 10 am Communion

Maundy Thursday April 2 - 7 pm Communion with Ceremonial Foot Washing

Good Friday April 3 - Proper Liturgy at Noon and Tenebrae at 7 pm

(Tenebrae - Latin for “Shadows” - is a deeply moving and meditative service wherein candles are pregressively extinguished and the great songs and hymns of the Passiontide are interspersed while we here Mark’s account of Jesus’ journey to the cross.)

Easter Sunday - the Feast of the Resurrection - 10 am Communion

The historic landmark Church of St. Sacrement was established more than 150 years ago on a rocky ledge overlooking the waters of Lake George from which she derived her name. Inspired by the beauty of the lake, French settlers originally called it Lac du Sacrement or Lake of the Holy Sacrement. Just as we stand as a beacon of welcome at the southern most edge of the village of Bolton Landing, we invite you to become part of our history.
