Embodying Our Presence in the World
Our current parish hall is a multi-use building built in 1965 erected to replace an original guild hall which was destroyed by fire in 1964. It not only holds our church office but is the center for many community activities.
In addition to being used for a weekly coffee hour following our Sunday service and other meetings of the parish, our parish hall is a mainstay for the community of Bolton Landing. Henriette’s Attic, occupying a large part of the upstairs, is a thrift shop whose income covers the cost of heating our facilities in addition to freely helping people in need. Downstairs, our kitchen houses a service of Warren County providing nutritional meals for seniors (call Ruth at 518-644-2368); and the Bolton After School Program providing school-age child care whenever school is in session (Call Bambi at 518-494-8223). Throughout the year other groups, including the local Ladies Auxiliary, Girl Scouts, and a local Addiction Center also make use of what this facility has to offer.
The Church Proper houses thirteen stained-glass windows which add an iconic beauty to our worshipping environment.
Immediately adjacent to the church building is Sacrement Gardens. Established in 1999 and housing a columbarium for the ashes of the deceased, the Gardens were originally conceived to accommodate the cremains of nearly 200 individuals and intended to be a resting place for anyone regardless of their religious affiliation. For more information regarding possible internment in the Gardens, contact the church office.
